Community Guidelines
Last updated: 24 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-draft-1
Chal Buddy is a community of people who enjoy doing things together. These guidelines apply to everyone: customers and companions, on the website, in the app and at every meetup.
Strictly platonic
- Chal Buddy is company for activities, nothing more.
- No physical contact beyond a handshake, and no requests for it.
- No requests for anything outside the booked activity.
- No flirting, suggestive messages, suggestive photos or comments about someone's body.
- Breaking this rule means a permanent ban.
Respect
- Treat everyone with courtesy. No harassment, threats, insults or pressure of any kind.
- No discrimination based on religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, region or language.
- "No" means no. If someone wants to end a meetup early, respect it and check out in the app.
- Be on time. If you are running late, say so in the in-app chat.
Public places only
- Meet only at the approved public venue in the booking, during booking hours.
- Never move to a home, hotel room, vehicle or any other private place.
- Do not bring other people unless both of you have agreed in the app.
Keep it on Chal Buddy
- Do not share phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles or UPI IDs.
- Do not ask for or make payments outside Chal Buddy, including cash or tips outside the app.
- Calls happen only inside the app.
Stay clear-headed and safe
- No alcohol or drugs before or during a meetup.
- Do not take photos or recordings of anyone without their clear agreement.
- Keep the app open during meetups, answer safety check-ins, and use SOS if you need help.
Honest profiles and reviews
- Use your real name and real, recent photos of yourself, fully dressed, in an ordinary setting.
- Write honest reviews. Do not offer or ask for reviews in exchange for anything.
Talk and listen sessions
- These sessions are friendly company and a listening ear, not counselling or medical advice. Companions never call themselves counsellors or therapists.
- If someone mentions harming themselves, share the free Tele-MANAS helpline (14416) and, in an emergency, call 112. Our safety team is alerted automatically.
Reporting and what happens next
- Use Report or Block on any profile or chat. Reports are private.
- A critical or high-severity report freezes the reported account until our team reviews it.
- Depending on what happened we may warn, add a strike, suspend or permanently ban an account, and we cooperate with the police where the law requires.
